
The Hare Krishna Movement
The Hare Krishna movement, officially known as the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), is a spiritual organization founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda in 1966.
The movement is based on the ancient Vedic traditions of India and focuses on the practice of bhakti yoga, or devotional service to Lord Krishna, who is recognized as the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
